Equipment
Useful Life
The performance of a machine is at its best right off the showroom
floor. Take care of your equipment and you'll add years of peak performance to
its useful life.
Water-using
equipment such as brewers, espresso machines, steamers, ice makers, misters and
dishwashers must have the right water flowing through them to maximize their
useful life. Untreated or improperly treated water takes a toll and ultimately
will damage the equipment.
The costs associated in maintaining that long useful life are minimal compared
to the price you'll pay if your water doesn't treat your equipment right. Do
the math: add up equipment replacement costs, equipment repair costs and lost
revenue when your equipment is not operational. It's clear protect the
useful life of your equipment with Cirqua® Customized Water.™
Greater Energy Consumption Energy
efficiency is important to us all. The efficient use of our energy resources is
an easy and friendly way to help keep our environment sustained and clean. Most
of our appliances and equipment will consume gas or electricity in their
operation. Water treated right will allow boilers and heating elements to heat
quickly, pumps and motors to run smoothly, and condensers to cool efficiently.
What is your energy consumption really costing, not only in direct dollars but
with the environment as well? Are you doing your part to keep down energy
consumption?
Manufacturers of water-using appliances and equipment set specific water
quality requirements for their units.
Cirqua® Customized Water™ provides the right water that meets those manufacturers
requirements.
Scale One of the
most common and damaging issues is scale. Scale shows up as white spots on
mirrors and dishware. It can actually etch and ruin glasses and dishes.
In equipment boilers scale forms as a hard rock-like substance, damaging
heating elements, greatly effecting performance and in many cases completely
shutting down equipment. Scale builds up on spray nozzles and small orifices,
reducing flow and creating service issues. The cost in lost product, equipment
and repair labor is unnecessary -- if you use the right water.
Corrosion
Corrosion of water pipes, sensors and water-using equipment is the result of
unbalanced water. Corrosion can also occur on the inside of coffee
brewers and ice machines where chlorine-derived gases escape and react
negatively within the equipment enclosures. Corrosion deteriorates the surface
structure and ultimately will consume the enclosure. Corrosion control is a
necessity as replacement of equipment and the plumbing network can be costly.

Chemical
& Detergents Consumption Water that contains
dissolved solids and hardness minerals requires the use of a greater volume of
chemicals and detergents over water that is treated right. Water that is right
allows for a cleaner and fuller dispersement of the added chemicals and
detergents thus using a lesser volume. The cost savings can be substantial.
Treat your water right with Cirqua® Customized Water™and see the results.
Reduced
Ingredient Use When a cup of coffee is
brewed or tea is steeped or a post-mix drink is poured a chemical interaction
is created between the ingredients. Water that is matched to the specific
interaction yields the best results. If the water is not correct, the results
of the reaction with coffee, tea or syrup elements can be far below
expectations, typically yielding a weaker, muted product. to compensate you end
up using more of the raw ingredients to increase the strength.
Simple Chemistry 101 shows that when you use a lesser or the proper
amount of ingredients in combination with the right water, you reduce
ingredient costs.
